Bought, Refurbished and Doubled the Value in Three Months: Refurb Bridge-to-Let
What if the lender that funds your refurb also gives you the buy-to-let mortgage at the end, with the same underwriter, the same valuer and no delays?
How we got it done.
What they wanted
To buy, refurbish and refinance quickly, and only to go ahead if the buy-to-let exit was lined up from day one.
Why it was complex
With a separate bridging lender and buy-to-let lender, you usually face a new underwriter, a new valuation and months of extra bridging interest. He needed a lender that would do both.
How we structured it
A refurb bridge-to-let product, where the same bank, the same underwriter and the same valuer handled the purchase bridge and the buy-to-let exit.
The outcome
The property doubled in value in three months. He exited straight onto the buy-to-let and released capital to buy his next property.

“The exit is everything with bridging. Same lender, same valuer, same underwriter meant no surprises and no wasted months of interest.”Josh Halsey, Founder and Director
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
Bridging is short-term, higher-cost borrowing. Buy-to-let and limited company lending is not regulated by the FCA. Property values can go down as well as up.
